love WOMEN

About: This design is aimed to deliver love to all the women in this world.
Idea: Women should be loved, cared for, and respected. They are gold.
Tools: Photoshop, Cinema4D, Illustrator
Tutorials: Ste Bradbury Design, JREAM

Typography

Putting the core idea in mind made me a bit struggle to choose which font for women. Those fonts above were taken from the Google Fonts open-source library with Handwriting and monoline letterform, which implies freedom and simplicity.

Why not Serif or Sans Serif here?

It is for love in my opinion, because I prefer the modernity of love today to mix all of our colors.

My first choice was Parisienne which might deliver the grace of the women elegantly, and it would be a good choice for interlacing with the Serif love.

The BUT is here

I just started learning how to make 3D illustrations 12 hours ago, so yes, this project was a challenge for me before March 08. Therefore, Sacramento The Easiest is my final decision to kick off this project.

Stroke

Having the desired font is a good start. From here, a piece made out of stroke is needed.

I am not good at tracking objects with the mouse, but I already got a super simple mono-line text! Keep going on!!!

Cinema 4D vs. Blender

Many topics discuss which tool is better than another, what pros and cons they have, and different target customers. It took me the first hours of my challenge to watch review videos, some projects made from each, and tutorials for sure.

However, I had one chance to interact with the learning curve of Blender, and it’s a bit complicated for me to learning and makes something quick-and-dirty in a few hours. Anyway, after this challenge, I will play with Blender more because there are more tutorials than C4D 😉

One problem may raise for those beginners like me regarding the updated version of C4D with differences in the UI. Hence, keeping up with the tutorial and instructor may take more time than our expectations.

Photoshop

Photoshopping the design is the easiest task in this challenge.
